Our resident assistants (RAs) and community assistants (CAs) are an integral part of the campus community. They are dedicated student leaders who help create a supportive and inclusive living environment for all residents. Whether you're looking for guidance, need assistance, or just want someone to talk to, your RA is here for you!
The RA/CA staff is responsible for many things within our hall and apartment communities, including planning and coordinating weekly programs, conducting safety rounds, mediating roommate concerns, and providing support and resources to their residents. They should be the first point of contact the resident should make, for everything from a lockout and a maintenance issue to a roommate concern and a question about campus.
Each building has an RA/CA on duty phone or a duty phone that is the student's way to access an RA/CA 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They can call or text this phone and be connected immediately with an RA/CA in their building.
